Terms of Use
Last updated: June 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of the OkCircle app and website, operated by Fil Technology (“we”). By using OkCircle you agree to them.
What OkCircle is — and isn’t
OkCircle is a personal safety check-in tool for private groups. It is not an emergency service and does not replace calling your local emergency number. Alerts and statuses depend on network connectivity, device settings, and the participation of your circle members; delivery is not guaranteed. Never rely on OkCircle as your only means of reaching help.
Your account
- You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must provide truthful information and use the app only for lawful, personal purposes.
- Don’t misuse alerts (e.g. false “need help” signals), harass circle members, or attempt to access circles you don’t belong to.
Circles and content
You control which circles you join and what you share with them. Content you post (statuses, messages) belongs to you; you grant us the limited license needed to store and deliver it to your circle.
OkCircle Care
Care is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store, with a 7-day free trial. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase. You can cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings; refunds are handled by Apple under their terms.
Disclaimer and liability
OkCircle is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for harm arising from reliance on the app during an emergency.
Termination
You may stop using OkCircle and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
